Bandhani sarees, in stock in the USA. Bandhani, also spelled bandhej, is the tie-dye technique from Gujarat and Rajasthan where thousands of tiny knots are tied before dyeing to leave dot patterns on the cloth. We stock cotton bandhani for daily and Navratri wear, Sungudi cotton bandhani from Tamil Nadu, and silk bandhej for festive and wedding functions, all at our Milpitas, California store.
Bandhani is the natural match for garba season; pair it with the chaniya choli collection for the family. For other printed and woven cottons, see Sungudi sarees and Kalamkari.
